Even with as much as 16GB of RAM on iPad Pro (2021), Apple limits app developers to 5GB of memory

Apple limits the amount of memory that iPadOS app developers can access to 5GB of RAM even though the iPad Pro (2021) offers 8GB or 16GB of RAM based on the storage configuration selected.
