Many of iOS 17's announced features, including a new journaling app, several Messages improvements, and Internet-enabled AirDrop transfers, will be coming in later iOS 17 releases. This is a pretty typical practice for Apple these days, though the list of "later this year" features ( via MacRumors) does seem a bit longer than usual.

How to install watchOS 10
Underneath the Automatic Updates toggle, you should see a new watchOS 10 download ready to go. Tap Download and Install. If you have automatic updates on, it may have already started updating! If you’re not seeing any options appear, go to Automatic Updates in the Software Update menu and try toggling it on and off.
